Lokademy was founded by Guyanese husband-and-wife team Lokaya and Curtly Critchlow to solve a critical challenge: making world-class, engaging CSEC & CAPE exam preparation accessible to every student in the Caribbean.

Lokademy delivers a unique 'digital ecosystem'. Our platform combines multimedia courses with a 24/7 AI tutor and a supportive community, representing a major leap forward in Caribbean EdTech.

Our Story

Lokademy was born from a unique partnership to solve a common problem: CSEC prep can be frustrating, outdated, and lack the structured support modern students need to succeed.

On one side, you have Lokaya Critchlow, a seasoned educator and Instructional Designer with over 11 years of experience in the classroom. She has a deep passion for crafting engaging lessons that build true understanding and drive student success far beyond the exams.

On the other, you have Curtly Critchlow, a software developer and a Second Lieutenant in the Guyana Defence Force (Reserve). He brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, discipline, and technical expertise to build a platform that is not only cutting-edge but also reliable, structured, and mission-focused.

Together, the Critchlows decided to fuse their expertise. They asked: "What if we could combine expert teaching strategies with the power and precision of modern technology?"
